Itasca Wines PLC is the holding company of Cranborne Lodge Limited and we are proud to be the new custodians of such a palatial and historical property set in the famous Cranborne Chase area of Dorset.
A New Chapter in English Winemaking
At the heart of our vision for Cranborne Lodge is a focus on the creation of beautiful fine English wine from vine to bottle, underpinned by a commitment to sustainability and regenerative agriculture.
Penn Croft is just one of Itasca Wines brand names and now in honour, of Cranborne Lodge we will be creating an additional brand “Cranborne Lodge”.
Adding this second label to our stable of wines is an exciting time and will give Cranborne Lodge its own and unique brand of wine, that will be readily available for all events held at the house including weddings, corporate hire and private gatherings.
Crafted with Vision: Meet Our Winemaker
Our award winning winemaker, Ben Smith, has 14 vintages under his belt and has worked in wineries all over the world including: New Zealand, Western Australia, Tasmania, Canada, The Alsace and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. His vision and method shine through and he is currently creating our Cranborne Lodge wine.
